Moon Mic's low impedance 250 ohms delivers a smooth signal and a tailored frequency response of (20 - 2k HZ). The Next Generation Moon Mic will not require heavy EQ, compression, or any other signal processing. No need for +48V phantom power. The patented dome cap has a spherical look which also serves key functions of diffusing undesirable soundwaves. The Next Generation Moon Mic microphone offers an 8-inch, natural fiber, and stainless steel weighted diaphragm with dynamic moving coil connected to a custom passive filter, focusing on a large surface area of the resonating head. The revolutionary design captures hard-to-retrieve resonant frequencies of the tonal spectrum you've been missing. Position the Moon Mic microphone 1/2" to 2" away from the drum head. (Note: Close proximity increases low frequency response.) Place the Moon Mic closer to the rim to capture higher frequencies and closer to the center of the drum head to capture lower frequencies.
